Southwest China's Guizhou province built 8,116 km of roadways in 2019.
A total of 1.24 million rural residents in Southwest China's Guizhou province cast off poverty last year, lowering the poverty rate to 0.85 percent, the provincial government said Wednesday.
Guiyang has a good eco-environment. It has been approved exclusively within the country to build a national ecological civilization demonstration zone.
In 2018, Guiyang devoted itself to development and progress while maintaining stability and deepening supply-side structural reform.
The city of Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province, enjoys a unique geographic location in the middle of Guizhou province, neighboring Yunnan province to the west, Sichuan province to the north, the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region to the south and Hunan province to the east.
