Guiyang Forest Park in Nanming district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is an ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and get close to nature.

As a national 3A-level scenic area, it boasts a wide variety of trees with extensive forest coverage, gurgling springs, rare animals, chirping insects and fragrant flowers. In 2016, it was awarded the title of "national forest oxygen bar".

In autumn, the fruits of the park's oriental raisin trees hang seductively from branches, appearing as gifts from nature.

The park also boasts many wild mushrooms, which carry the freshness and richness of the mountains and forests.

On the park's chestnut tree-lined path, visitors can be seen carrying baskets for picking chestnuts. The chestnuts hidden under the leaves are a pleasant autumn surprise.
