In order to enrich the international air network of Southwest China, Tianjin Airlines plans to open a direct flight between Guiyang in Southwest China's Guizhou province and Singapore on Nov 15.
The route will be operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft with four round-trip flights per week. This will be the only direct flight from Guizhou province to Singapore and also the first international route opened in the province by Tianjin Airlines.
The outbound flight, GS7969, is scheduled to operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. It will depart from Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport at 11:25 pm and arrive at Singapore Changi Airport at 4:00 am the next day.
The return flight, GS7970, will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, departing from Singapore Changi Airport at 5:10 am and arriving at Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport at 9:15 am.
The aircraft will be equipped with 18 premium economy seats and 148 economy seats in the cabin. Each passenger is allowed to carry one seven-kilogram piece of hand luggage and one 23-kg piece of free checked baggage.
In the initial period of operation, one-way ticket from Guiyang to Singapore starts at 280 yuan (excluding taxes) and that from Singapore to Guiyang starts at 390 yuan (excluding taxes).
The opening of the direct flight will significantly shorten travel time, with the flight taking just over four hours. This saves nearly 10 hours of travel time compared to connecting flights, providing travelers with a more comfortable and convenient travel experience.
The route is expected to make tourism and business travel for passengers in Southwest China more convenient. It is also an important measure to promote economic integration, cultural exchanges, and mutual development in tourism between Guiyang and Singapore.
In the future, Tianjin Airlines will continue to expand its business in Southwest China, strengthen strategic coordination with Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, and provide passengers with a better international travel experience.
Tianjin Airlines has established a Guizhou branch in Guiyang, which is an important hub for air routes in Southwest China, and deployed four overnight aircraft at Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport.
It has opened routes in Guiyang, Zunyi and Maotai, covering 21 important domestic first and second-tier cities such as Sanya, Urumqi, Xi'an, and Tianjin.
