Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport officially opened three new city terminals on Sept 19: Beijing Road City Terminal, Colorful Guizhou City Terminal and Gui'an High-Speed Railway Station City Terminal.
They are said to mark a significant step forwards towards improving the quality of overall services and enriching the complete passenger experience.
The Beijing Road City Terminal, located at Exit D of the Beijing Road metro station – a transfer station of metro lines 1 and 3 - offers self-service check-ins, enabling passengers to print boarding passes for a more convenient journey.
Meanwhile, the Colorful Guizhou City Terminal, inside the main hall of Colorful Guizhou City Cili (Rosa roxburghii) Museum, features a dedicated rest area and real-time flight information displays.
The facility provides pre-booked check-in services for group travelers and fast-track tickets for eligible passengers.
The Gui'an High-Speed Railway Station City Terminal is located at the ticket inspection area at the entrance of Gui'an High-Speed Rail Station's second floor. Here, travelers can check in and print boarding passes with self-service equipment.
Additionally, the newly upgraded terminal at Guizhou Provincial People's Hospital City metro station now offers greatly improved facilities, including a dedicated resting area and a luggage storage area.
Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport aims to address the so-called "last-kilometer" problem of air travel by expanding its integrated city terminals. These new terminals will better meet the growing demand for air travel, broaden the airport's reach and streamline the transportation network to create a smoother travel experience.
