At the 2024 Beijing Forum on China Building Economy held on Sept 13, Guiyang's Guanshanhu district was selected as a "typical urban area for China's building economy development index" due to its outstanding performance in developing the building economy.
As an important part of the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), the forum saw industrial leaders discuss new dynamics for the development of future cities and new approaches to develop the building economy.
During the forum, the China building economy development index was released. This index, tracked and researched continuously by the Jiqun Think Tank since 2021 from both governmental and market perspectives, has become an important benchmark for assessing the development status of the national building economy.
Guanshanhu's selection as a "typical urban area for China's building economy development index" is a recognition of its continuous efforts and innovative practices in the building economy.
Through various means such as data comparison analysis, feedback on enterprise investment and site selection, and on-site inspections, the forum conducted a comprehensive evaluation of key urban areas in first and second-tier cities across the country.
In recent years, Guanshanhu has seized opportunities to develop its building economy by optimizing its policy environment, improving service systems, and attracting more investment.
The district has not only seen the emergence of a number of high-quality and high-yield commercial buildings, but has also attracted a large number of high-quality enterprises and headquarters, forming cluster development.
