Guizhou Science City • Sci-tech Innovation and Intelligence Valley Project unveiled

The Guizhou Science City · Sci-tech Innovation and Intelligence Valley Project was officially introduced at the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guizhou Science City) 2024 technological innovation and achievement exchange summer series event held on July 17.

The project is a flagship initiative prioritized by the innovation hub of Guizhou Science City, aiming to develop an integrated scientific research complex from R&D incubation to sci-tech achievement commercialization, propelling Guizhou Science City into a new phase of development.

The project includes the Guizhou Scientific and Technological Innovation Park, the Nanyuan Intelligence Valley, and the Xingchen Scientific and Technological Innovation Center.

Centered on the needs of scientists and young people in innovation and entrepreneurship, it plans to build a community for innovative R&D, living, entertainment, leisure and socializing, with amenities such as expert apartments, scientific research areas, high-quality international schools, and upscale hospitals.

It aims to create distinctive service facilities like scientific parks, academic exchange centers, vibrant leisure centers, and libraries, fostering a sense of community belonging among researchers.

 Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone is currently expanding and upgrading the 20.64-square-kilometer Guizhou Science City. Leveraging its natural resources, the zone seeks to craft a scenic image of lakeside beauty combined with advanced technology.

Guizhou Science City is now home to 27 national research platforms and two national incubation carriers, and has nurtured four listed companies, eight national technologically-advanced small giant enterprises, and 103 national high-tech enterprises.

Next, Guizhou Science City will work to become a top-tier science city in Central and West China. It will explore a new "administrative committee + major enterprises + research platforms" development model to establish itself as the main force in developing high-tech industries, serving Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area, and supporting independent technological advancement in Guizhou province.
