At 8 am on the morning of July 14, the 2024 Guizhou Ancient Village Run (Qingyan Ancient Town station) began in Huaxi district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
A total of 2,687 runners from across the country participated in the event. Among them were professional runners, amateur enthusiasts, and participants running together with their families.
During the event, runners passed through flagstone streets and ancient alleys, immersing themselves in the historic charm of Qingyan Ancient Town. The route, enriched by ancient buildings, ancestral halls, and the former residence of top scholars, added a touch of antique beauty, while the fresh air and pleasant climate made the experience more comfortable for the runners.
