Gui'an strives to provide first-class business environment

Over the past year, Gui'an New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province implemented various measures to create a first-class business environment characterized by marketization, rule of law, and internationalization.

These efforts include providing VIP services for enterprises that foster a market with fair competition, and a just and transparent legal environment, along with efficient and convenient government services.

Since March of this year, Gui'an bureau of administrative examination and approval has launched 10 one-stop services for multiple permits by optimizing processes, and streamlining procedures, aiming to improve the experiences and satisfaction of applicants.

The services involve the issuing of permits for opening food processing factories, restaurants, convenience stores, and pharmacies, realizing "one application, parallel approval, and simultaneous issuance of permits" to maximize convenience for both individuals and companies.

The Gui'an office of business environment has conducted visits to 366 companies in the area, assigned 379 officials and employees as responsible persons for serving enterprises, and formed enterprise service teams for regular contact and coordination.

When companies encounter problems, they can directly contact enterprise service specialists for one-on-one services.

According to statistics, Gui'an provided one-on-one services to more than 4,200 key enterprises in 2023, and 55 new project contracts were signed from June to December last year, with a contract amount of 25.57 billion yuan.

From January to May of this year, 33 new project contracts were signed, with a contract amount of 23.65 billion yuan, accounting for 78.83 percent of the annual target.

Currently, Gui'an is focusing on key areas such as enterprise assistance, government services, and officials' conduct, optimizing measures, enhancing soft power, improving public satisfaction, and making efforts to build a first-class business environment, promoting the high-quality development of the new area.
