A Chinese-French martial arts exchange event took place at the Qingyan Ancient Town in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on April 19.

Nearly 60 French enthusiasts of Chinese culture along with over 50 Chinese martial arts fans participated in the event.

During the event, members of the Guiyang Wushu Association used their impressive skills to showcase the magnificence and diversity of Chinese martial arts, including tai chi, Wudang Longmen Tai Chi, and Longmen Fuchen, to the French delegation.

At the same time, the French delegation introduced the martial arts culture of France and shared their own insights.

The event, held in celebration of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France, not only strengthened the friendship between the two countries, but also promoted the development of Chinese martial arts internationally.
