Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport starts summer and autumn flight schedule

According to Guizhou Civil Aviation Industry Group Co, starting from March 31, the company began to implement its flight schedule for this year's summer and autumn seasons.

With this schedule, the total number of weekly planned flights to and from Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport will reach 4,046 (passenger and cargo flights), with an average of 578 flights per day, serving 108 destinations through 160 routes.

In the summer and autumn seasons of 2024, the airport's flights will cover all municipalities directly under the central government, provincial capitals, sub-provincial cities, important tourist cities, and some international cities.

In terms of new destinations, compared to the summer and autumn seasons of 2023, Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport has added several domestic destinations this year: Dali, Wushan, Qingyang, Zhangjiajie, Puer, Meizhou, Hanzhong, Lancang, Libo, Hengyang, Chifeng, and Fuyang. It has also added four international destinations: Kuala Lumpur, Osaka, Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi, and Bangkok's Don Mueang; as well as two new cargo destinations: Ezhou and Kolkata in India.

Regarding air shuttles, the airport has planned more than 10 direct flights per day to six cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Wenzhou, and Qingdao, and more than six quasi air shuttle flights per day to 15 cities: Zhengzhou, Xi'an, Haikou, Quanzhou, Xingyi, Tianjin, Sanya, Ningbo, Hefei, Jinan, Wuhan, Shenyang, Fuzhou, Xiamen, and Guangzhou.

For international flights, the airport is set to operate six international passenger routes: Guiyang-Phuket Island, Guiyang-Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi, Guiyang-Bangkok's Don Mueang, Guiyang-Shanghai Pudong-Osaka, Guiyang-Kuala Lumpur, and Guiyang-Macao.

In terms of intra-provincial connecting flights, after the seasonal changes, there are a total of 14 connecting routes in operation. They are: Maotai = Tongren = Libo = Wuhan, Wuhan = Libo = Tongren = Anshun, Libo = Xingyi = Maotai = Nanchang, Xi'an = Anshun = Libo = Wuhan, Xi'an = Maotai = Libo = Tongren, Ningbo = Tongren = Libo = Maotai, Wuhan = Libo = Tongren = Xingyi, Anshun = Libo = Tongren = Ningbo, Wuhan = Libo = Maotai = Tongren, Tongren = Libo = Maotai = Nanchang, Liupanshui = Guiyang = Xingyi = Maotai, and so on.

Next, to provide more convenient travel services for passengers, Guizhou Civil Aviation Industry Group Co will further increase the frequency of flights to important international cities such as Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur, and gradually open new routes to Milan, Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam, and other RCEP member countries.
