As March has arrived, Shili Hetan Tourist Resort in Huaxi district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, sees a vibrant display of blooming flowers, welcoming the flowering season.

The cole flowers, covering over 10 mu (0.67 hectares) along the banks of the Huaxi River, are now in full bloom, signaling the start of the flower-watching season and attracting many visitors eager to capture the perfect photos.

Within the resort, more than 10 varieties of flowers, including peach blossoms, purple-leafed plum blossoms, cherry blossoms, white magnolias, purple magnolias, saucer magnolias, Chinese redbuds, Chinese quinces, hall crabapples, and winter jasmines, are blooming one after another.

Wang Tianli, head of the comprehensive coordination department at the Huaxi National Urban Wetland Park Management Office, explained that the resort is a flower-themed tourist destination, with different types of flowers blooming throughout the year.

Spring has cherry blossoms, cole flowers, and peach blossoms, while summer brings sunflowers, lotus flowers, and wildflowers. Autumn boasts sweet osmanthus, chrysanthemums, and beautiful rice fields, while winter offers camellias and plum blossoms.

In addition to the resort, visitors can also head to the nearby Huaxi Park to admire tulips blooming in red, pink, and apricot.
