Guiyang's electronic information manufacturing industry surges in 2023

According to a press conference on digital economy development in Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area held on Jan 16, Guiyang's electronic information manufacturing industry is expected to achieve a production value of 33 billion yuan in 2023, ranking first in the province.

According to Guiyang bureau of industry and information technology, Guiyang has been maintaining its advantage in electronic components, and has focused on developing electronic end products and servers.

Efforts have been made to attract investment in chip and circuit board manufacturing, and as a result, the industry's comprehensive competitiveness has improved. This supports the steady development of the city's industrial economy.

In 2024, Guiyang aims to surpass an output value of 37 billion yuan in the electronic information manufacturing industry, with a year-on-year growth rate of more than 12 percent.

The city will enhance funding support, engage in effective project planning, and improve the supply of standard factories. In regards to electronic end products and services, Guiyang will introduce main frames and related companies to diversify its product range.

Guiyang will give attention to project approval, completion, and inclusion into government data bases, with priority given to the construction of important projects. Efforts will also be made to promote the development of industrial enterprises, as well as encouraging their upgrade and expansion to support the local data center market.

Focusing on electronic end products and services, Guiyang aims to develop the electronic component and circuit board industry to drive the growth of integrated circuit chips.

Based on the current status of electronic information industry, Guiyang and Guian will encourage the communication between local electronic end product manufacturers. Furthermore, Guiyang will promote the specialized development of industrial parks that will focus on electronic information manufacturing.
