Multi measures to boost tourism in Guiyang and Guian

With the arrival of summer, Guiyang has welcomed its peak tourist season, attracting people from across the country. To further the development of cultural tourism, the municipal bureau of culture and tourism will improve its services to meet the diverse needs of tourists.

In terms of project construction, Guiyang plans to introduce strong market entities to create boutique scenic areas such as Guian Cherry Blossom Garden, Moon Lake, and Yunman Lake, as well as accelerate the revitalization and improvement of underutilized and inefficient projects such as Chetian Beautiful Countryside and Swiss-style Town.

In order to further the integration of culture and tourism, the construction of the Zhaoguodong Prehistoric Human Cave Site Park will be continuously promoted, incorporating archaeological sites such as Zhaoguodong, Dasongshan Tombs, and Niupodong into the boutique tourism routes of Guiyang, showcasing a more complete historical and cultural context of Guiyang and Guian for visitors.

Guiyang will also combine rural resources such as the cherry blossom garden, rice fields, and Guizhou Plum Orchard with surrounding archaeological sites to develop regional agricultural and cultural tourism projects integrating sightseeing, experience, study tours, and health preservation.

Partnerships with platforms such as Mafengwo will be established to release the "Guian Weekend New Experience Guide" travel guide and carry out online and offline activities such as "Weekend Outing in Guian," linking food, accommodation, transportation, shopping, and entertainment to attract more tourists.

At the same time, efforts will be made to strengthen the construction of public cultural facilities in Guian and support the improvement of public cultural services in townships, providing local people with higher-quality and more equitable public cultural services.
