Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, aims to accelerate the construction of the core area of its digital economy development innovation base, and expand the scale of its digital economy in 2023.
Guiyang will develop basic software, industrial software and embedded software, aiming to achieve an increase of more than 20 percent year-on-year in software and information technology services in Guiyang and Guian New Area.
Guiyang will support the development of a cloud service industrial ecosystem by introducing 40 partners from the Huawei Cloud ecosystem. It will also promote the formation of a whole industrial chain of servers.
In order to participate in the "Eastern Data and Western Computing" project, Guiyang will accelerate the construction of direct optical cables to Guangzhou in South China's Guangdong province, and take the lead in realizing provincial computing power grid operation and networking dispatching.
Guiyang will carry out cooperation with famous institutions and companies to explore data capitalization and standards, and implement authorization and confirmation mechanisms for data rights.
Guiyang will develop its general computing power, intelligent computing power and super computing power. In addition, it aims to attract and cultivate computing power-related companies, and create exclusive computing power products for financial and industrial areas.
Guiyang will also keep organizing the Big Data Expo, run the Global Big Data Exchange, and promote the Guizhou Big Data Experience Center.
It will accelerate the construction of Guiyang big data sci-tech innovation city to attract more than 800 companies, apply for national pilot areas for digital renminbi and digital service export, and promote the construction of the national big data security range.
