Guiyang's intellectual property protection center receives national recognition

According to the China Intellectual Property Administration, the intellectual property protection center in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been recognized as a national patent navigation center.

The current national patent navigation center in Guiyang focuses on meeting the needs of industrial demands and aims to promote the application of patents.

It can analyze industrial development trends and technological innovation directions through patent information resources. It can also promote the application of patent systems in industrial operation, guide and support the scientific development, assist research in core technologies, and help innovation entities improve their core competitiveness.

In recent years, Guiyang has enhanced the creation, application, protection, management and service of intellectual property. It has provided decision-making references and intellectual property information for industrial planning, R&D, technological innovation, and investment promotion.

In the past three years, Guiyang has carried out 15 patent navigation projects in intelligent manufacturing, bio-medicine, information technology, new material and new technology. These projects have enhanced the application of research results, streamlined how intellectual property is commercialized, and boosted the innovative development of the industrial sector.
