According to the information office of the Guizhou Provincial People's Government, the 11th China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo will be held in the provincial capital of Guiyang on Nov 9-12.
This year's expo will be held online and offline and is entitled "Exhibiting the World's Fine Wines and Liquors, Promoting Opening-up and Cooperation", aiming to promote cooperation in the production, circulation and consumption of the wine industry.
The exhibits will involve wine, liquor, production technologies and equipment, and cultural products in the wine industry. The online exhibition will have seven exhibition areas for exported wine, baijiu, beer, fruit wine, yellow rice wine, health care wine, and compound wine.
The offline exhibition will cover a total area of 80,000 square meters and include about 2,500 exhibition booths.
The exhibition was first held in 2011 and has so far attracted 150,000 buyers and 14,000 companies, with a total trade value of 1.2 trillion yuan ($165.12 billion).
The exhibition has become an internationally famous professional exhibition for the wine industry and a platform for wine companies from across the world to cooperate.
