Industrial investment in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, in the first three quarters saw robust growth, with a year-on-year increase of 62.7 percent.
The growth rate was 59.3 percentage points higher than the growth rate of the city's total investments, and 0.4 percentage points higher than that from January to August.
During the period, the city's fixed asset investment grew by 3.4 percent year-on-year, of which investment in projects with a value of more than 5 million yuan ($684,344.66 ) increased by 24.4 percent and investment in real estate development projects decreased by 21.4 percent.
Also, the city's investment in construction and installation projects accounted for 73.9 percent of its total investments, a year-on-year increase of 24.1 percent.
