The first six COVID-19 patients of the recent novel coronavirus outbreak in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, were cured and discharged from Jiangjunshan Hospital on Sept 14.

Since the onset of the outbreak, the hospital has followed the national treatment plan for COVID-19 cases and offered customized treatments for each patient.

The rest of the COVID-19 patients at the hospital range from two months to 89 years in age. For child patients, the hospital selected pediatricians and pediatric nurses from across the province to offer targeted treatment and 24-hour health care.

The hospital also prepared formula milk powder, milk bottles, diapers, and baby wipes for the two-month-old baby, and arranged a warm baby room and nurses for the whole process of nursing to ensure that he will be fed and cared for during his stay at the hospital.
