Guiyang city – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – was recently selected among China's 45 national pilot cities that will focus on their youth development.
The cities were selected for their coordination of youth development and economic development, and for their achievements in providing support policies and creating a sounding living environment.
The period for the construction of a youth development pilot city will be two years. During that time, the cities are expected to launch effective and attractive policies and projects to solve the problems of young people in terms of studying, living and working.
They are also expected to stimulate young folk's innovation and business potential and explore new approaches for the city's development.
