Southwest China's Guizhou province recently released pandemic prevention and control measures for people traveling from outside the Chinese mainland to the province.

1. People traveling from outside Chinese mainland (expect Macao)

They should have a 14-day concentrated quarantine and a 14-day period for self-monitoring of the health situation at home, as well as 12 nucleic acid tests.

During the homestay health monitoring period, they are not allowed to leave during the first seven days and should report to supervisors if they need to go out during the second seven days. When leaving home, they should wear masks and avoid crowded places and public transportation.

2. People entering China illegally

They will be quarantined and receive nucleic acid tests before receiving legal punishment.

3. People traveling from Macao

Those who are not COVID-19 confirmed cases, asymptomatic carriers, suspected cases and close contacts, do not have fever or respiratory symptoms, and have not been to other countries and regions outside the Chinese mainland within 14 days before traveling to Guizhou, can be exempted from quarantine if they have negative nucleic acid test results issued within seven days.

If they do not have negative nucleic acid test results issued within seven days, they should have tests immediately or receive a 14-day concentrated quarantine.
