During the first half of this year, the GDP of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was 204.22 billion yuan ($31.56 billion), a year-on-year increase of 9.3 percent.
The city's GDP grew 10.8 percent from the first half of 2019.
The added value of primary industries was 8.10 billion yuan, an increase of 7.3 percent year-on-year; the added value of secondary industries was 74.43 billion yuan, an increase of 10.1 percent year-on-year, and the added value of tertiary industries was 121.68 billion yuan, an increase of 9 percent year-on-year.
The primary, secondary and tertiary industries made up 4.0 percent, 36.4 percent, and 59.6 percent of Guiyang's GDP, respectively.
