Big Data Expo to hold mind sports competitions for the first time

During the 2021 Big Data Expo, which will be held in Guizhou's provincial capital Guiyang on May 26-28, mind sports competitions related to big data will be held for the first time.

The competitions will include programming contests for visual programming and C++ programming, memorization contests utilizing poker cards and random words, as well as an electronic sports competition featuring the hit game League of Legends.

Students from Guiyang's primary schools, middle schools and vocational high schools, as well as other individuals, can register for the programming and memory competitions.

Currently, the registration process is underway. The finals will be held on May 28.

The competitions aim to cultivate talents for Guiyang's mind sports and big data industries.

Teams from Hangzhou, in East China's Zhejiang province, will attend the programming and memory competitions to boost sports cooperation between Guiyang and Hangzhou.
