Guiyang, Guian train more than 30,000 people in big data

Since Guiyang city and the Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province started a big data training program during the 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016-20), more than 30,000 big data people have improved their skills sets.

The big data training program has reportedly helped establish a recruitment ecosystem for people expert in artificial intelligence and blockchain, as well as for people needed in the construction of new infrastructure including 5G base stations and data centers.

As a result, Guiyang and Guian now have big data teams with people at different skills levels and from different aspects of the big data sector.

Moving forwards, plans are for Guiyang and Guian to implement new strategies for data-driven innovation and innovation-driven development, to create a first-class international big data industry.
