Registration opens for Big Data Expo's app innovation contest

The fusion innovation competition for industrial apps, which is a part of the Big Data Expo, started registration on April 12. The contest will last until the end of the expo in May.

The competition aims to promote the development of industrial apps and encourage the public's interest in developing manufacturing-related apps and software.

Companies related to industry, industrial internet and industrial software, as well as research institutions and universities, can register to participate in the competition.

The registered projects can be apps or software for mobile phones or computers, software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications or creative ideas.

The registration period will end at midnight on April 30.

The preliminary contest will last from May 1 to 9, the semifinals will be held in mid-May online and offline, and the finals will be held on May 25, with offline exhibition areas set up for the winning projects.

The competition will have awards for first, second and third-place finishers, as well as single awards. It will provide participators with services such as investment, financing, publicity and business cooperation for their projects.
