Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, started its summer flight schedule on March 28.

During the summer season, 34 airline companies will operate flights at the airport, flying to 101 airports across the country. Direct flights from Guiyang to cities in East, Southwest and North China will be more frequent, and more flights from Guiyang to domestic cities will be added.

On the first day of the season, Suparna Airlines opened a new flight route between Guiyang, Jinggangshan in Jiangxi province and Wenzhou in Zhejiang province. The flight operates once daily.

Hebei Airlines also opened a flight route between Guiyang, Longnan in Gansu province and Beijing on the same day. This flight also operates daily.

The adjustment of flights is expected to contribute to Guizhou's opening-up and business environment improvement, as well as meet the travel demands of more passengers.
