International standards from Guiyang company get green light

The first international industry standards initiated and established by Guizhou Space Appliance Co – based in Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province – were recently released.

That was in the wake of the company receiving approval from the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), making it the fourth set of international standards issued by the province in Southwest China.

The latest international standards regulate the standards of radio-frequency connectors, which are mainly applied in the communications and aviation fields.

As a leading radio connector manufacturer in China, the company began setting industry standards domestically in 2016 to solve the problem of inconsistent parameters and to upgrade the ICE's existing standards.

The company's proposed domestic standards passed local reviews in early 2017 and were recognized by IEC experts in May 2017.

The latest international standards will reportedly further promote China's aerospace electronics products to global markets and enhance the company's reputation overseas.

The IEC is one of world's earliest and authoritative international electrotechnology standards organizations and is in charge of the standardization of electric engineering and electronic engineering.
