Guiyang ranks first in Guizhou on two business indexes

According to the recent evaluation of Guizhou's business environment in 2020, the provincial capital Guiyang ranked first on the market supervision and intellectual property (IP) indexes and second on the company registration index.

Guiyang scored 87.83 points on the IP index evaluation, rising 11.28 percent year-on-year. The indexes for non-litigation dispute resolution agency coverage, IP pledge loan issuance and IP application were all scored out of 100 points.

Guiyang also scored 88.4 points on the market supervision index evaluation, which is 3.33 points higher than the provincial average. Guiyang has five districts and counties ranked among the province's top 20 for market supervision, with Yunyan district ranking first provincially.

Guiyang's evaluation result on the company registration index was 84.86 points, an increase of 3.37 percent year-on-year and 4.96 points higher than the provincial average.
