Guiyang development zone's first city park opens

The first stage of Sanjiangkou Xingyuewan Park in Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone officially opened to the public on Feb 9, becoming the first city park in the zone.

The park has a planned area of 632 mu (42.13 hectares) and will be equipped with a mountain park, sports center, riverside park, Bouyei culture park and an ecological corridor.

The first stage that has opened to the public is the mountain park, which covers 353 mu, where citizens can join leisure sports, and the recreational riverside park, which covers 30 mu.

The second stage will include the sports center and the Bouyei cultural park and will be established by the end of 2021. The third stage will feature a 4.9-kilometer-long ecological footpath and will be completed in 2026.
