Guiyang's inland port logistics hub was recently listed on the national logistics hub construction list by the National Development and Reform Commission and Ministry of Transport, becoming the only one of its kind in Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The hub is located in Guiyang's southern area, covering more than 5,500 mu (366.67 hectares). It includes Guizhou Material Modern Logistics Group's industrial park, Gaimao freight center, Guiyang railway port and Guiyang Transfar highway port.

It has the functions of line haul, regional distribution and delivery, logistics information, international port and logistics services and multimodal transport, as well as integrated supply chain services, supply chain finance and e-commerce.

In recent years, Guiyang has accelerated the construction of Dulaying international land-sea logistics port, Guiyang Gaimao railway port and the third stage of Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport. The city's goal is to become a major inland port and assembly, distribution and transfer center for import and export cargoes.

In the future, Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Commission will cooperate with related government departments to give full play to Guiyang's advantages as a national logistics hub and promote the in-depth integration of traffic, logistics, commerce and industries in the city.
