Guiyang will also open 300 Gbps of bandwidth to serve Guiyang Free Trade Zone, Guiyang High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, and Guian Free Trade Zone, making Guian a core part of the national communication system.

By the end of May, Guian's 5G base stations had covered eight main roads, six housing estates, and 10 industrial parks.
