With the first international mail exchange bureau in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, beginning operations on April 1, the time of international mail entry and exit is estimated to be shortened to two to five days.

The bureau is located at Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, covering an area of 546 square meters. When the third stage of the airport is put into use in 2021, the bureau will move to a 13,600 more sq m of space, which will be equipped with a customs declaration area, an inspection area, a temporary detention area, and a pending area.

The international mail exchange bureau is a key import and export channel for international mail, as well as an important platform for cross border e-commerce development.

It will help Guizhou further open-up, deepen investment attraction, expand import and export trade, accelerate the development of logistics and cross border e-commerce, as well as open up the international tourism market.
