City of Vicenza

In 2018, Guiyang signed an MOU on friendly cooperation with Vicenza.

As the capital of the province of Vicenza, the city of Vicenza is situated in the Veneto region of northern Italy. 180 kilometers east of Milan and 61 kilometers west of Venice, the city covers an area of around 80 square kilometers with a population of around 110,000. An industrial center of northern Italy, Vicenza develops plane, iron and steel, produce processing and textile machinery.

The city of Vicenza is one of the important industrial cities of Italy, with headquarters of Pirelli Cables & Systems – the largest cable manufacturer in the world. The city has more than 60,000 small and medium machinery, textiles and leather enterprises. Around 35 percent of its products are exported to European and US markets.

Italy's jewelry industry enjoys an excellent reputation worldwide, while Vicenza is known as the City of Gold and City of Jewelry. Hosted by Fiera Di Vicenza, VICENZAORO jewelry exhibition will be held three times a year. VICENZAORO, BASELWORLD and JCKLasVegas, has been reputed by three major jewelry shows in the world.
