Guiyang established cooperation with Geumcheon, Seoul in 2015. Geumcheon District is located in the southwest corner of Seoul, covering an area of 13.01 square kilometers and has a population of 242,510. It is a modern high-tech city centered on fashion and the IT industry, and is the economic center of Seoul. Geumcheon District is focusing on future education, small library's and lifelong study spaces' construction to create a self-study system. With its deep history and rich tourism resources, Geumcheon is devoted to becoming an environmentally friendly city.
