The market supervision bureau in Baiyun district recently took effective regulatory measures to conduct full coverage supervision of vaccination units.
According to the new regulation, it required vaccination units to make records of the purchase of vaccines, the configuration of vaccine equipment and the implementation of quality management mechanism.
A special inspection plan for vaccination units was also made to further standardize the supervision of the purchase, storage, transportation, acceptance inspection, and disposal of non-conforming products of vaccines.
The supervision focused on five aspects, including vaccine purchase channels, supplier qualifications, purchase notes, storage and transportation of vaccines, and elimination of expired and substandard vaccines.
As a result of the inspection, no use of expired vaccines was found. Only a small number of vaccination units have not established vaccine acceptance records, with incomplete quality management files and substandard cold chain records, which have made rectification.
