Guizhou Big Data Exhibition Center shows a digital Guizhou

Since opening to the public in May, the new upgraded Guizhou Big Data Exhibition Center in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has received around 40,000 visitors as of Dec 24.

The exhibition center is located along Shubo Avenue (Big Data Expo Avenue) and covers an exhibition area of 5,000 square meters after its upgrades. It aims to provide an investment promotion platform for Guizhou's emerging big data companies, while showcasing Guizhou's big data achievements.

With the help of advanced digital technologies and multimedia displays, the exhibition center showcases Guizhou's many well-known enterprises' big data applications in medical treatment, natural disaster prediction, and online government services.

During the 2019 Big Data Expo, which occurred in May, the exhibition center served as an important part of the expo and received 1,871 visitors, which is an increase of 105 percent.
