A delegation of envoys and charges d'affaires from 13 Arab countries and international organizations visited Southwest China's Guizhou province on Oct 22. During the three-day visit, the delegation will visit Guizhou's major cities and regions to see its achievements in big data, ecological civilization, poverty alleviation, and economic development.
With Guizhou's progress in economic and social development, there is great potential for cooperation between the province and Arab countries. The visit is expected to enhance envoys' understanding of China, promote China-Arab relations and the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum, as well as boost communication and cooperation between Guizhou and Arab countries.
In recent years, Guizhou has focused on poverty alleviation, big data, and ecological environment strategies, furthering its opening up efforts based on the Belt and Road Initiative. The province hopes that the delegation will take the visit as an opportunity to enhance cooperation on personnel exchanges, investment, industrial development, and tourism.
