The research focused on the high-quality development index of China's small and medium-sized cities, which is based on key indexes like economic development, ecological environment construction, business environment, and technological innovation.

To improve its core competitiveness, Yunyan strives to develop new industries, revitalize commerce and trade, as well as strengthen matchmaking of production and marketing.
