Guiyang subway supports more payment systems

Guiyang's transportation system launched its near field communication (NFC) mode on Oct 11, which means passengers can take subways or buses by scanning their smart phones after installing the official app Guizhoutong.

The app supports 438 different kinds of phones with an Android system, while the iPhone version is currently under development.

In addition to serving Guiyang, the app can also be used on subways and buses in 260 cities. To date, over 2.9 million people in Guizhou have registered the app, 2.33 million of which activated the digital transportation card on the app.
