Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently launched an online government service platform that allows individuals and companies to enjoy more convenient services.
The platform is connected with various government departments and provides 307 government affair services at municipal level, which means that over 99.22 percent of Guiyang's government affairs can be handled online, 89 of which require applicants to hand in application materials only once.
Users can log in the platform via self-service terminals, computers or mobile phones. After going through the unified identify authentication process, users can apply for government affairs online, with applications being examined and approved automatically by the system.
Guiyang aims to realize 100 percent of government affairs being available online, as well as to connect all the self-developed approval systems at the municipal level with the platform by the end of this year.
