Government services available online in Guiyang

Guiyang, capital city of Guizhou province, has been making great efforts to create a new model of government services to optimize its business environment. 

Relying on the provincial online services platform, 26,262 items of government services, covering all districts, counties, development zones, townships, and villages in Guiyang, can be consulted, declared, processed, and inquired online. The average processing time of government services on the city and district levels have also been reduced by approximately 50 percent.

A total of 14,053 data catalogs from 365 city-level and district-level departments are stored in the Guizhou-Cloud Big Data Platform so that government data can be shared when residents and enterprises use online government services platform.

In addition to online platforms, applications on mobile phones have also been developed to provide more convenient services. Residents are now able to handle 214 items of government services, including paying utilities fees, making inquiries about the social insurance and housing fund, as well as purchasing bus tickets, through their phones.

In recent years, the Guiyang government has devoted itself to improving efficiency and bringing convenience to all its residents and enterprises. Last year, 664 similar, repetitive, or unnecessary certification materials that were previously required were canceled.
