2019 Big Data Expo adopts robots as guardians

The 2019 Big Data Expo that will be held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has adopted 12 service robots "ANBOT" and "APV-S" to support security work during the expo.

Provided by Guizhou Oneway Robot Co, ANBOT is a fourth generation product and has two years of working experience, while APV-S is the company's latest product and has never been applied in security work before.

ANBOT will provide special information, broadcasting prompts, information service, and navigation service for visitors indoors. APV-S will be on patrol outdoors to remove fire hazards and compare captured images with the public security system to identify suspected fugitives suspicious people.

With the help of the robots, the executive committee of the expo can adjust security work based on real time visitor flow rate and predict security issues in advance.
