Located in Huaxi district, 17 kilometers from downtown Guiyang, Huaxi Park is known for being exceptionally beautiful, comfortable and clean.
Serene and fresh, it is an ideal place of leisure for those seeking to unwind from their busy lives. The park's scenic hotspots include Kylin Hill, Phoenix Hill, Turtle Hill and Snake Hill.
Kylin is the main hill and looks like a fierce kylin, covered with green trees, making a great noise. At the top of Kylin Hill is a panoramic view of the breathtaking landscape stretched across the park for as far as the eye can see.
Phoenix Hill is less mountainous on a flat ground among some fields, flowerbeds and paths. At its top, one can see the villages and alleys crawling among the flowers and fields like a dancing dragon.
Turtle Hill looks like an old man crawling through the green fields, breathing life into the park. Jade-chess Pavilion, a quiet place for visitors to take a break from the outside, can be seen from far away on one side of the hill. And, on the other side of the hill, a bridge reaches over a dam like arms extending to shake hands with the visitors. Snake Hill is similar to Turtle Hill in the distance, with a winding shape and three small peaks.
