The 10th Black Truffle Award list was unveiled on May 5 and Guiyang Pearl Gallery Hotel was selected in the Urban Retreat category of the Annual Resort Hotel of the Year.

The Black Truffle Award was first launched in 2017 by Jiesu, a well-known domestic homestay brand operator. Its name is inspired by the rare and precious black truffle ingredient, symbolizing how the selected resort products are as valuable and difficult to discover as black truffles.

Each year, the award evaluates more than 1,000 nominated resort hotels and boutique homestays across China based on seven criteria: resource endowment, location and transportation, facilities and amenities, design aesthetics, lifestyle, local culture, and culinary experience. The award is widely recognized as one of the most authoritative accolades in China's resort industry.

Guiyang Pearl Gallery Hotel is located in the AYDC Public Art Center, Guanshanhu district. Opened in 2020, the hotel features 88 guestrooms and serves as the flagship property of the Pearl Gallery brand.

The hotel invited internationally renowned designers to create its visual aesthetic, drawing inspiration from Guizhou's local landscapes and natural charm. Elements drawn from Guizhou's topography, embroidery, batik, and ethnic totems are integrated into the design, blending contemporary art with the region's cultural heritage.

In May 2025, Guiyang Pearl Gallery Hotel was admitted as the 10th member hotel in China of The Leading Hotels of the World, a global top-tier independent luxury hotel alliance, becoming the first member hotel in Guizhou.
