The event, from the perspective of international communication, presented Guizhou's diverse cultural and tourism offerings, including red culture, Yangming culture, ethnic culture and Tunpu culture.
During two days and two nights in Guiyang, the media and tourism industry insiders visited Qingyun Market, where they enjoyed exquisite dining, craft beer, and brilliant cultural creative products.
Thai online influencer Katsri Wonchana said he felt Guizhou's warmth and delicious food on the very first day in Guiyang. "The craft beer here even has a hint of tea fragrance. The taste is great," he said.
From April 20 to 21, the group visited China Yangming Culture Park, Qingyan Ancient Town, the Guizhou Long March Digital Art Memorial (Hongpiaodai), and the Colorful Guizhou City, among other sights and venues.
They also explored the "New 10 Sights of Cool Guiyang" on-site, feeling the cultural heritage in every scene and feeling the contemporary spirit with every step.
The performance of "Red Ribbon: The Great Journey" uses cutting-edge technologies such as VR, AR, holographic projection, and AI virtual interaction to transform red history from written text into a perceptible and interactive immersive experience.
Cambodian social media influencer and actor Wen Sopheak said after the visit he has a natural preference for venues that tell history from a youthful perspective, and that this trip to Guizhou was particularly rewarding.
"I had never been to Guizhou before. After coming here, I really liked the lush green mountains, clear waters, and sour soup fish, and I also felt the rich ethnic culture," Wen said.
He said that experiencing batik techniques and strolling through Qingyan Ancient Town gave him a genuine sense of Guizhou's profound cultural heritage and the charm of its intangible cultural heritage. Moreover, the influence brought by the performance of "Red Ribbon: The Great Journey" far exceeded his expectations.
