The main gymnasium of Guiyang Olympic Sports Center Phase II is nearing completion, with final works progressing steadily. This key public livelihood project, highly anticipated by local residents, is set to serve the public and support Guiyang's cultural and sports development with a brand-new appearance.

Located in the core area of Guanshanhu district, the main gymnasium of Guiyang Olympic Sports Center Phase II has a total construction area of 130,000 square meters and a total investment of 1.35 billion yuan. The project includes an 80,000-sq-m gymnasium, a 10,000-sq-m training hall, 20,000 sq m of auxiliary facilities, 20,000 sq m of basement space, as well as outdoor environmental works, ancillary facilities, and equipment.

As a landmark project in Guiyang's efforts to promote the integrated development of culture, sports, tourism, commerce, and entertainment, the facility is built to Class A super-large-venue standards. It can host national-level sporting events and large-scale performances, while also accommodating public fitness activities and trendy cultural events.

The project will further enhance the functional layout of the Guiyang Olympic Sports Center, fill the gap in high-end cultural and sports venue facilities in the region, and provide residents with a higher-quality public cultural and sports service space.
