The Ministry of Education has approved the establishment of the Guizhou Vocational University of Industry and Commerce.

This newly approved institution, based on Guizhou Vocational College of Industry and Commerce in Guiyang, is a private, non-profit, undergraduate-level vocational university with a provisional full-time enrollment capacity of 12,000 students.

In its initial phase, the university will offer four vocational undergraduate programs: Big Data Engineering Technology, Big Data and Accounting, E-commerce, and Enterprise Digital Management. The addition of further programs will be handled in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education.
