Designed around the old Guiyang's "Nine Gates and Four Pavilions," the trail now serves as a unique space for visitors to experience the city's history and culture.

The trail's enhancement has not only improved the urban environment but also quietly transformed locals' daily experiences. Deng, a Guiyang native, shared: "Even though I'm a local, I didn't know much about the history of these streets. Now, after the trail's renovation, I can't help but take a closer look as I pass by, learning the stories behind them. It even brightens my mood on the way to and from work."

The trail's cultural appeal has also brought positive impacts to nearby businesses. Zhang Yinjin, manager of a hotel in Yunyan district, noted: "Some regular customers used to say the area around the hotel was a bit messy. Now, after the renovation, it's not only clean and tidy but also enriched with historical charm. It's definitely more attractive to tourists."

The planned full length of the trail is approximately 7.9 kilometers, covering 14 distinct areas. Its development further enhances public services in the old city core, with the goal of becoming an important cultural landmark that carries the city's memory.
