Lumaotang village sits only a 15-minute walk from the Gui'an Cherry Blossom Park. Last year, the village used scientific planning to select and prepare the planting area, guiding villagers to cultivate 120 mu (8 hectares) of cole flowers. This innovative model keeps the land productive year-round: cole blossoms for viewing in spring, seeds harvested for oil in summer, and green manure crops planted in autumn to enrich the soil.
This year, Huchao township continued to provide free cole seeds to local villagers and invited agricultural technicians to offer on-site guidance. This facilitated large-scale seedling cultivation and transplanting, expanding the cole flower fields from 120 mu to 200 mu, forming a well-arranged, picturesque rural landscape.
In addition to expanding the flower fields, the village has set up several creative photo spots around the fields, letting visitors experience rural charm and childlike joy while admiring the blossoms.
Furthermore, the village has developed various other distinctive features across different areas, including hand-painted murals and a secret bamboo forest, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature while discovering numerous photogenic spots.
