Guiyang welcomed a sunny winter day on Dec 12. At Huaxihu Park, autumn's charm lingered amid the mild weather. Bathed in soft sunlight, Huaxi Lake sparkled gently while the shores were brimming with richly colored trees and grasses – drawing many residents out for leisurely strolls and peaceful relaxation in the heart of the season.

Along Guizhu Road next to the lake, the metasequoia trees entered their peak viewing period. With straight trunks crowned in golden and reddish-orange foliage, they lined the urban thoroughfare like a vibrant garment, adding a brilliant touch of color to Guiyang's winter scenery.
