The 2025 mountain heroes meet automotive and motorsports series, along with a kayaking competition, has begun at the Mengguan Off-road Player Base in Huaxi district, Guiyang, on Nov 22.

This year's event features an opening ceremony with a hundred-vehicle parade, a national off-road racing competition, a forest T3 cross-country challenge, a kayaking series, and an awards ceremony.

By innovatively integrating motorcycle teams and kayaking water events, the event has expanded participant diversity and demonstrated the extensive reach and inclusiveness of national fitness initiatives, attracting over 400 participants and more than 30 automotive brands from across Guizhou, Yunnan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Sichuan, and Chongqing.

The national off-road racing competition alone has registered over 200 vehicles, while the forest T3 cross-country challenge features 100 participating vehicles. Motorcycle events have drawn 200 competitors, and 100 athletes registered for the kayaking series.

A premium event route, "automotive experiences in Mengguan, adventure expeditions in Gaopo", has been released, connecting renowned scenic spots such as the Qingyan Ancient Town and Mengguan Forest Farm.

Guizhou's new winter sports-tourism offerings and the distinctive Guiyang-Hainan sports tourism road trip project have also been launched as part of the event.
